a telling of she

she watches her
broken bits of time
fall into dirty cracks
weariness travels the
length of her spine
many are her heavy breaths
only to end unnoticed
everything possessed
of her love is gone
tossed away,
marks of an unwanted thing
stuffed into silence
kissing a unmarked grave
her eyes feel ageless
as if she’s been through it all before
yet she holds mortality with
torn palms & bloody wrists
rivulets of brokeness
pour from inside her chest
each with their turn
ripping her depth to shreds
carnal brutality against
a long ago soul
born to remain cursed
…a telling of she

~an unloved creature
