What causes one to be a “douche”?

Is it selfishness?

Is it having knowledge, a cockiness that says, regardless, there’s always another body to fill the void…there will always be some heart available to capture, dismantle, make it a throw pillow, tossed it aside?

Is it having financial security?

Is it youth?

Or strength?

Vanity?

Narcissism?

Do they even realize 
their caustic mentality
their harsh treatment
Do they even fucking care?

Whatever the cause of it…
some are just douches!
